Melting Pot Fiesta Specials featuring Khalil Ramos

Last Saturday January 19, 2013 was Tarlac's fiesta, and as usual there's this parade of stars :) and we got the chance to watch the said parade. Jake Cuenca, Megan Young, Charie Pineda, Cristine Reyes and Khalil Ramos was there.

Corporate Attire

Hi! This is our first post for 2013 and we're happy because we are now back in blogging (it has been so long since we did our last post)... 2012 has been so busy for us, aside from being a third year in college 2012 is the year were we started blogging. And we admit that blogging is not easy, a very challenging work for us, but we enjoy it... Through this we were able to inspire others and know our potentials as bloggers and we were so happy to share it to you guys...

Enough for that :) Yesterday we had our educational tour at PSE (Philippine Stock Exchange) and BSP (Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas) and that was the first time we wore our corporate attire (in our university if you're in your third year you're already required to wear a corporate attire during Wednesdays and several events like seminars...) So let the pictures do the talking...

Pamper Day!

Everybody needs a break once in a while, and pampering one's self is the best way to reward yourself a treat to do away the stress.. So I decided to indulge my self for having my hair treatment last week with my friend Zairah (late post na to..but it's ok!)..

This is me having my treatment, it's relax with cellophane..:)

And this is my ever supportive friend Zairah who accompany me. While waiting for me, she's reviewing for our Tax1 (haha cramming kasi hindi nakapagreview.. nakauniform kami kasi we have a class at 2:30..) 

It's Anne Curtis-Smith, Zairah's idol :) reading this at the salon, she luckily found it and super happy siya kasi she didn't  grab a copy of this last May.

Instead of reviewing Tax1, grabbing the opportunity to read this magazine tinodo na niya ang pagababasa and she even took pictures of it because she really love Anne Curtis..:)

At Jollibee, having our lunch..we're so gutom na, 1:00 P.M. na kaya natapos, we've been there at 10:00 A.M. pa!

After all the pagpapaganda , we went to our class na which was Management 6, and finally we had met our prof at that day na since he didn't meet us last Tuesday...:)

We end our day with a smiling face, lalo na ako with my new hair achieve na achieve! haha..:)

Heart Doodle

I made this doodle yesterday, and i think it turned out so cute. aside from kawaii characters, its shape really made it cool.. and by the way it's my third doodle.. hope you like it..

oh before i forgot, i want to name all those characters on my doodle :)

at the bottom all the way to the top there's an ice cream, note, rabbit, skull, dolphin, robot, kitty, hearts, flowers, cupcakes, monsters, clouds, panda, swirls, sun, candy, love, hope, peace, mr. mustache and a lot of stuff pa :)

Halloween Costumes (last minute designs by Zai)

Since it's Halloween, it means a lot of parties and costume contest, trick or treat and scary ghosts hunting.. And as I said HALLOWEEN PARTIES, parties are just around the corner, so we've decided to do a halloween costume collection.. 

Here are our designs inspired by Disney character's Mickey and Minnie mouse and Batman, hope you like it.

Minnie mouse inspired costume

combination of pink and sky blue, balloon dress paired with socks and ribbon :)

Mickey mouse inspired costume

this red polka dots with tulle skirt, balloon skirt with silk belt.. :)

Batman/ Bat girl inspired costume

this yellow and black combination looks relax and classy at the same time, paired with leather pants and combat boots will complete the outfit and don't forget to wear your mask :)

Doodle Doodle :)

Zai as the storyteller :)

My cousin asked me if i know how to make a doodle. She keeps on telling that I should try out to make my own doodle 'coz its fun daw :) So I tried to research what this doodle all about and these what I have found..

As you can see doodles are drawings, it can be an abstract or it has its own meanings. Everyone can do doodling, it is just an expression of our minds, we don't need to be a professional artists just to make our own doodle. As what they say let your hand move and do the rest, create your own designs and express your own idea...

the most common doodle art that I saw includes kawaii characters, monsters, cartoon characters, chibi and comic characters. Swirls, abstract and tribal prints are those doodles that looks professionally made.

And since I'm just a beginner my doodle is just simple, and since me and Jonaida were so girly hihi i chose to use kawaii characters on my doodle... So here are my works of art :)

DIY: Neon Friendship Bracelets

Lately we've been so fascinated about NEONS, everything basta neon color (bracelet, necklace, earrings). Until one day we discovered something in youtube, video showing how to make a bracelet using all those plastics (na alam naman natin na napakarami hihi). It is so cool, an awesome way to recycle :) and we thought that it is such a cute idea to try it out :)

Materials that you will need :

• Used plastic bags (in different colors)
• chains and locks (galing sa sirang bracelets yung samen hihi)
• pliers
• stick glue (sorry gamit na yung samen :) )
• cardboard and clippers (recycled din yung cardboard namin hihi)
• scissors

Steps:

!. cut a thin strips of plastics (depending on the color that you want)

since we love neons, we think that these three colors will make a good combination :)

2. twist the thin strips to make some texture to your design and for the braiding part

3. make a knot at the end of the strips

4. clip the strips to a cardboard and start braiding (braid yung napili naming design, pero pwede rin kayong gumawa ng gusto niyong design like cobra pattern, nasa discretion niyo na :) )

(yung haba nasa discretion niyo na din)

    

5. after you finish braiding it, make another knot at the end of the braid and secure it with the stick glue.

6. put some chains for your design and don't forget to put a lock to your bracelet :)

    

7. Tadaaa! Finished! :)))

see as easy as that! You already help our MOTHER EARTH, you save up your money pa :)
